On December 14,2017 Justin David Cagle and Jezzika Lynn Marie Gunlogson were Wed by Rev Marquez at the Little Lucky Chapel Las Vegas Nevada. Cagle is owner at Cagles Customs in Ontario and Gunlogson is a student at Chaffee Collage in Alta Loma. Both are residents of Wrightwood. Celebration was held at Treasure Island. The couple is registered at Bed Bath And Beyond. Congratulations on a very promising future.
They met back in 1958 and now this happy couple is celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. Florence “Flo” Palladino and John M. Palladino of Wrightwood have made a lifetime of memories together.
In the 1950s John ventured out from Brooklyn, New York and settled in California where he landed a job in Santa Ana, CA. Flo came over the pond from England and got a job in Santa Ana, which was the same company John worked with and where they first met. They eventually started to date. It wasn’t long before John knew Flo would be his bride and they were married in 1958 and began a family.
The couple went on to have three children, a son, Michael Palladino, married to Deidre, of Newport Beach, CA, a daughter, Nathalie keeping company with Clark, of Santa Margarita, CA, and a daughter Mary Collins, married to Bill, of Texas. The couple also has five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
In 1958 the newlyweds honeymooned on Catalina Island. On June 1, 2013 John and Flo will be sharing their happiness with family and friends in Newport Beach.
Robert and Lori Brant of Pinon Hills are happy to announce the engagement of their son Billy to Deanne Simmons, daughter of Joyce and Wayne Markwardt of Riverside. Bill is employed at Show Ready as the Forman and CAD Manager,
Deanne is employed at Velocity Vehicle group as the Corporate Warranty Manager.
The wedding will be held in San Dimas, CA on October 5, 2013. The couple plans to reside in Riverside, CA.

Local Young Man, Gregory Etsuro, Graduates from USC
Gregory Etsuro Montana earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California during their May 11, 2012 Commencement exercises. He also has Minors in Spanish and Peace & Conflict Studies.
Gregory was a clarinet player in the USC Trojan Marching Band for four years and was one of the clarinet section leaders in his senior year. He was also a member of the Concert Band.
He was also active with the USC Catholic Center. During his four years he held several positions including Spiritual Life Chair and Homeless Ministry Coordinator. He was also active with Music Ministry on guitar and vocals.
Gregory was involved with the USC Catholic Center’s “Alternative Spring Break” program, constructing houses in Tijuana in 2009 and 2010. In 2012, the Alternative Spring Break had the opportunity to travel and work in El Salvador where he met Foreign Minister Hugo Martinez and visited La Divina Providencia Chapel where Archbishop Oscar Romero was assassinated.
In the spring of 2011, Gregory participated in the Study Abroad Program. He lived and studied in Santiago, Chile.
A native of Wrightwood, Gregory is the son of Bob and Marcella Montana. His sister, Corrine Montana who graduated last year from USC, was able share in many college activities and experiences with her brother. Gregory is a graduate of Wrightwood Elementary, Pinon Hills Middle School, and Serrano High School.
Before continuing graduate studies, Gregory has made a one-year commitment to volunteer with the National Evangelization Teams,netusa.org.
Cody Wesley Leathers

Proud parents, Dean and Mary Leathers of Apple Valley, announce the birth of their first child, Cody Wesley Leathers, born on April 3, 2012, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana. Cody was 7 lbs. and 19 inches. Cody’s grandparents, Mike and Terri Leathers from Phelan and Mike and Carol Lieby from Apple Valley, are thrilled to have an addition to the family.
Dean is a graduate of the 2002 class of Serrano High School. Dean is the owner of Dean’s Custom Exhaust in Phelan. Mary is a graduate of Apple Valley High School. Mary works for Desert Feed in Apple Valley.
Ariel Marie Tellez! Born February 4, 2012
Welcoming Ariel Marie Tellez! Born February 4, 2012 @ St. Mary's Hospital, Apple Valley. Parents are Jose Tellez (formerly of San Diego) and Amanda Campos (Phelan resident). At 5 pounds and 8 ounces and 18" long, Ariel is just a little midget but full of energy! Ariel is welcomed by her grandparents, Anthony and Jeanne Campos (AC Plumbing and Rooter, Phelan), Annette Campos (Eastvale), and Carmen Paredes and Al Tellez (San Bernardino).
Mauer And Schaefer
Mr. Joshua David Mauer and Ms. Dana Michele Schaefer, of Victorville, are pleased to announce their recent engagement. Dana is the first daughter of Mr. Gerald D. Schaefer and Mrs. Jill E. Schaefer, of Phelan. Josh is the first son of Mr. Ron D. Mauer and Mrs. Betty A. Mauer, of Phelan. Josh and Dana have been together 7 happy years now and plan to have a romantic, starry-night themed wedding at the home of the bride’s parents in August of this year.
Campos and Millard
Anthony Campos, 10-year resident of Phelan, and Jeanne Millard, 25-year resident of Phelan, local business owners of AC Plumbing and Rooter, announced their wedding on January 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Family and friends were delighted by the news and looking forward to celebrating with them this summer at their annual family bbq weekend.
